High Tide on Falmouth Beach
This is a fun spot to use for your children's photo. The tide has to be low enough to get out to the rock. We save this for last least someone falls in.

Not The Beach
There are certain times of the day that work better in your yard, the studio garden, or local park. Young children, that need to be in bed by 7 pm, should be photographed earlier in the day. The beach light is just too harsh between 8 am - 7 pm. No one can keep their eyes open and not be squinting because of the sun reflecting off of sand; water and open sky. Here are examples of families having their portrait scheduled late afternoon or early evening.
Yellow & Navy
Love this family session! The yellow and navy work so well together for a beach portrait on Cape Cod.

Fall Colors for your Family Portrait Sitting
The dark sweaters, with jeans and khaki pants connects this family. I love that grandma is in ivory. She deserves to stand in the middle, and stand out amongst her children.
